Christmas Cards, Stuff im up to, and Purple Thursday :-)

Yup. We created our Christmas letter and it includes this picture of us "Resting" for our new addition to come in April.

Yup cheesy but it works right? It goes on about how everything is going just swimmingly for us and how we have some new stuff in our back yard like.. a pool and a built in BBQ with a table. Extension of our patio and some other stuff.

Other than that I went to training last week on a product called Snort. Pretty cool stuff if you are into network sniffing / alerting on specific triggers. I have to come up with a good plan on this or I could accidentally spam myself really bad.. that wouldnt be good :-) That made me enjoy my 10 min drive to and from work.. since I had to drive from Surprise to Mcdowell and the 101 in Scottsdale.. Boy.. that sucked ass. 1 hour to get there and depending on when I left it took me about 1 hour and 30 mins to get back. One night (of my four day course) it took me 2 hours because of 3... stupid fender benders.. Nothing serious no cops on scene just MORONS slowing down to say oo that sucks.. lol. I would have to get paid pretty well to have to do some sort of commute like that.

I also found out about some friends of ours are getting a divorce and its kind of odd because one of them wouldnt want to consult a lawyer because it costs too much money. But hey who am I to judge right?

I got to go to the Phoenix RoadRunners game on Friday night, wootzors. It was fun.. since I was in a box suite and we got free beer but because I got to hang with some friends I havent seen in a while. Which of course since they lost their drummer proposed that I fill the void.. I was like.. hmmm I could for a bit but I dont think it could be long term because of the new one on the way and the current kid I have. Yah know I have to be around once in a while :-).

My other friends and I are going to take my RV to the Cardinals game on Christmas Eve. Sounds like fun - I will show up a bit late since I am doing Christmas with my family (my side) that morning and my wife gave me grief about going on Christmas eve but I told her it could have been worse... Christmas day :-p.

In real news - I think its great that last Thursday (the 15th) was purple Thursday for the Iraqi people and I do believe there is progress, however slow it may be its still considered progress even if it doesn't make the news here in the US.

Cant wait for New Years in Glamis - I dont have the fireworks I want but I got some :-) I will try to hit New Mexico for them next year.

If I dont post till next year I will wish anyone reading this a Merry Christmas or any other holiday they celebrate and to have a safe and happy new year!

Bring it 2006 :-)

Good News for us today!!

Kara and I went to the Dr and found out that we are indeed going to have a...

Baby Girl!

My wife had to ask the ultrasound tech 3 times to ensure she wasnt going to say oops sorry I meant boy! I was kicking around the idea and I wouldnt have minded to have another demon seed of myself out there that was a boy :-) I bet a girl is just fine.

Now to get my son up to par on how to shoot, and beat things up.... So when I want him to protect his little sis he can :-)

Other than that I got to leave work early to go to the appointment so YAY me!

The only other thing is I have been trying to update and or upload photos of my son that I have compiled from this past year and the bastards at our website provider (doteasy) only have me set up for 20 megs... boy.. that makes it interesting if you are supposed to have 100 and they only give you 20.. buttheads. Other than that.. everything in our lives are good :-)
