Great Article on F-secure

So I was doing some research on current Virus threats for my IT class for the University of Phoenix (Axia College) required daily question. I was doing my normal searches for the current virus status etc etc from Sans and F-secure and others when this article caught my attention.

http://www.f-secure.com/weblog/archives/00001398.html

The article basically states how most people are able to block the "Phishing" attempts because it is malicious code over HTTP (port 80) and now they are using FTP which most people do not monitor / block malicious content within businesses.

The part that is interesting, to me, is how it actually holds true because most businesses allow port 21 (FTP) to go out to the internet without even checking the content and payload of the traffic to ensure it is not malicious.

Its just something that makes you go hmmm...

Cheaper Certification Costs!!

So I have tried and successfully used this site and I want others to know it is out there because its great. I know the vouchers are legit and I have used 2 thus far. Granted both times I failed my 642-901 BSCI test for Cisco but thats a different story.

Website -
Cisco Certify 4 Less

This link is for cheaper Cisco Certifications. They have Microsoft / A+ / Novell and a ton more. So if you are going for a certification why not find a cheaper method. If you are like me you have to pay for all your cert tests on your one and the only real reason to get these certs is to put on paper what you already know you can do.

This site looks somewhat hokey and unreliable, however I have recently used an been happy with the service. My main reason for trying it was because they accept Paypal and I do not have to give them my credit card directly.

So all you out there looking to do certifications and wanting a CHEAP method of doing so you should definitely check this site out.
