New Glock 36

So the other day my buddies and I were going to go out shooting and I needed to pick up some targets. I go to my local shop to get the targets and I browse their glock section. Low and behold there is a 36 for sale for $460.00 I look at it and it barely looks used besides a little bit of wear on the slide. Brand new these guns retail for $580.00 out the door so to me was a deal!

I couldnt pass up the deal and bought the .45acp to add to my collection and I got to put a few through some targets in County Land. It was fun and my long search for a 36 is now over :-)

Now to find a laser sight for it and put it on :-)

$20.00 a year Long Distance; New VoIP solution Magic Jack

That's right... $20.00 a year long distance, phone, voicemail, three way calling, and call forwarding. Sounds too good to be true doesn't it?

If you dont know about this already let me introduce you to Magic Jack -

http://www.magicjack.com/1/index.asp

The basics of this device is you buy it for $40.00 for a USB to Analog Adapter. The first year you get phone service for free. Every subsequent year it is $20.00 for continuing service on your USB phone. Yes that is not a typo - YEAR...

Here is a list of area codes they service - LIST

Ive read the reviews, but I am not sure how well it will work. After reviewing this product, yet again, from www.kctalk.com ( http://www.kctalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8460 ) I decided to pull the trigger and buy one. I bought it and hope to receive it by next week and set it up for use.

We will have to see how well this device actually holds up over EVDO / Cable / Wireless connections and how well I like the Soft Phone. Ive got some pretty high expectations of soft phones with my use of Skype and Cisco's IP soft phone. My initial thought will be how long can this company last with such low revolving income from its users. I also wonder how well the service will work for E911, 411, regular, and long distance calls in my area. I am also curious to find out if I can use the device to connect back to my computer in order to create a dialup networking connection.... yah dont ask me why but I might have a need for this.

Its May Already?!

Yah so where did the time go? Near the end of the School Season for my wife, and summer time for them to have some fun in the sun. Lots of that around these parts. Well Since the last post not a whole lot has happened in my world just different stuff each day and a few fun projects at work. I hope to include a new game review this weekend (or next week) about WII MarioKart. I may be picking this up tonight at Best Buy or possibly tomorrow, but tonight sounds like a good idea.

My daughter is moving into her 2 year old room at daycare. She was bit again last week by a kid, I guess she looks good enough to eat?, and this week they were to be phasing her into the older room. Seems the only issue is she may see her brother more and get a bit disoriented during that time but I am sure this is not the first time this preschool has had this scenario.

Brayden is about the age to get into Counter Strike and playing more video games. He is almost 4 now and he has a lot of catching up to do to beat me. But Im sure this will happen, but until then, I want to see how well he does :-)

Well I am almost done with my AA from UoP for the time, then gotta figure out what I am to do for my Bachelors... decisions decisions... but online schooling is awesome and If you have the opportunity to try it give it a whirl. I especially like the fact that I can turn in my homework until 11:59p.m. at night and have it count as "on time."

Couple weekends ago I got a buddy of mine and his son to go out to play paintball, finally. His son is in love with it now! lol. I hope to start going to 23bps for some night time paintball in the near future, since it is going to get warmer. That place is fun for rec ball.
