6 Years eh?

So this past week was pretty fun. The kids went on a trip to Disneyland, Sea World, Lego Land, and other areas in Cali with my parents while my wife and I decided to take a trip for our 6 year anniversary.

We take turns on who "plans" our anniversary and this year was mine. I came up with an idea to go to Sedona and have a nice relaxing weekend, then had a thought. Over dinner on Monday we discussed what we could do and I threw out Six Flags Magic Mountain as a feeler to see if she would even bite. Bite she did and the very next day I bought our tickets, flash pass for the park, and a hotel room just outside of L.A. I even txt messaged her to make sure she wasnt just pulling my leg because I was super excited.

Thursday I posted an add on craigslist to sell some furniture from Addison's room and someone called me up 3 hours later and bought it 6 hours after I put the add up.. pretty funny, but nothing to do with our trip.

So we go Friday (left early so I can attend a Webex in Cali) we get our room and explore Whittier California. Its pretty nice, and we enjoyed the night before the park! The next day we had a blast, and if you can afford a Flash Pass (sort of like fast pass at Disneyland) I would highly recommend it. You can pretty much get on good ride (except for X2) pretty quickly. We got to ride the X2 twice - first ride and last ride, and walked out of the park around 11:50 when they close at 10.

So after the fun day at Six Flags I was planning to buy my first "street" cruiser motorcycle. I got back, my friend came by and we headed out to pick up my new bike :-) I picked up the bike and took her home. After bringing the motorcycle home, showing it to my wife I got to put the bike away and the trailer that I had to transport it on away. THEN I went to play soccer and we won, again lol... and that, my friend, is what you call a weekend :-)
